The scientific, educational, and cultural online journal “Journal of Environmental Earth and Energy Study” (JEEES) has been published since January 2019. The journal covers a wide range of interdisciplinary issues at the intersection of geography, geoecology, climatology, geoenergetics, and renewable energy, with a special focus on low‑carbon development, decarbonization, technical and economic potential, environmental risks associated with the siting of renewable energy facilities, as well as the application of GIS, cartographic methods, and Earth remote sensing data for modeling natural and anthropogenic processes. The journal publishes original research articles, thematic reviews, and information on conferences, symposia, and expeditions. It is aimed at the Russian and international scientific and educational community – specialists in ecology, hydrometeorology, energy, and natural resource management – as well as faculty, graduate and undergraduate students of specialized universities, schoolchildren, and all those interested in the sustainable interaction between society and the environment. The editorial board and authors include leading scientists from Russia and abroad, ensuring high scientific quality and relevance of the published materials.
